garmin gps mount dashboard
They are useful accessories for the new GPS (Garmin c330)?
I have the GPS as a gift. Comes with a mounting already. Why should I buy a separate desktop Bracket (available at Amazon for $ 30)? I have also seen anti-glare screens. Are they useful? Will you help reduce the washing which can occur when the sun shines on the unit? Thans for your help!
Some states do not allow the window mount GPS units, for a reason. I bought the unit and C330 assembly that script from Amazon. It has 3 legs and relies on the friction and weight of the entire unit to stay in place. It works very well on the flat part of my desk. My angle the windshield is such that you can not mount a GPS unit and still be able to reach it from the driver's seat. I use the windshield in a different car. I have no screen anti-glare, but have not had a problem with washing, even in bright sunlight.
