The repair Sony VAIO laptop screen? How much? Where? Please Help Me I'm worried …?
I wonder how long it cost to get the screen on my laptop repaired in the UK. As I write this, two large patches of black with a crack evident on the screen LCD and I can hardly read what I write. I need a new screen and wondered what it would cost in the UK? Also what type of insurance can cover and where would the cheapest place to go?
Not so much an answer but a solution. You can connect a standard monitor in the back of most laptop. Not much use for portability, but useful if used at home. If you have a spare to join their local Freecycle group (free) and there are people giving greater monitors at all.
