Does anyone have the Garmin Edge 205? ?
I just bought the Garmin Edge 205, I'm trying to figure out how to use the GPS enabled altimeter, if anyone has any suggestions on how to use it, please help. Thank you.
Do not think the 205 has an altimeter. I know that the 305 has a (shared the same manual, so that the manual makes it appear that you have one). My 205 is able to say alt. only by the maps that are loaded on my computer. So if the map of a course on "mapmyride.com" or similar, I export the file as a map from Garmin, Garmin and added to the training using their software. After synchronization, etc, then the altitude of 205 located outside the map data for the specific data points. Alt 305 is added to complement internal data map.
